WS is a piece of software that allows users to connect to the internet. It has been around since the early days of the internet, and it’s still used today by millions of people. However, this software has its flaws; one major flaw being that it can be easily hacked.

WS is a problem that has been present for a while. This article will show you how to fix the issue.

One of the most frequent problems that PS4 users encounter is WS-37403-7. Users are unable to log into their accounts due to the issue. As a consequence, they can’t use their gaming system to play or download games.

However, resolving the problem is not as difficult as it may seem. In addition, there are a number of possible causes for the problem on your game console.

But, regardless of what is generating the WS-37403-7 problem, I will discuss potential solutions in this post to assist you in resolving the issue.

So let’s get started:

What is the cause of the WS-37403-7 Error?

The WS-37403-7 Error on your PlayStation may be caused by a variety of factors. The following are some of the most frequent causes:

  • The WS-37403-7 error is a server-related problem. The Error just shows for a short time and then disappears. So the wisest course of action would be to wait a few hours.
  • Local Network Issue: If you have an internet connection problem, you are likely to have a variety of problems. As a result, double-check that your internet is up and running. Also, double-check your game console’s network connection to make sure everything is working properly.
  • Corrupted/Obsolete Software: Another cause of the WS-37403-7 Error is corrupted or outdated software. As a result, ensure that your PS4 is up to date and running the most recent build.

On PS4, How Do I Fix The WS-37403-7 Error?

1. Log out and then log back in again.

Let’s start with the most basic way of troubleshooting. The first thing you should do is log out of your PSN network and then log back in.

So go to your PlayStation network settings and log out. After you’ve logged out, restart your gaming console and sign back in to check whether the WS-37403-7 problem persists.

2. Modify the DNS settings

Altering the DNS settings is the next thing you may attempt. It’s to verify that the DNS configurations in the settings are accurate. Because your PS4 may not function with a certain DNS setup.

To establish the proper DNS settings, follow the instructions below:

  • To begin, choose OK and then refresh.
  • If the console does not allow you to log in, go to the main menu.
  • Select Network from the options menu.
  • Select the option to Test Internet Connection and wait for the test to finish.
  • After you’ve finished the test, double-check that your Internet connection and Obtain IP address results were successful.
  • Return to the network settings page if you get a failure message or the WS-37403-7 error number.
  • Select Set up an Internet connection before choosing custom.
  • Select Automatic for IP address assignment and Do Not Specify for DHCP Hostname in this section.
  • To adjust DNS settings, choose Manual.
  • Enter 1.1.1.1 in the Primary Address field.
  • Then type 1.0.0.1 as the secondary address.
  • After that, click the next button to see whether it helped you solve the problem.

3. Install the latest PlayStation software.

The WS-37403-7 issue is more likely to appear if your console hasn’t been updated in a long time. This is due to the fact that older software often has problems connecting to the network.

As a result, manually updating your PlayStation to the most recent version is a smart idea. And to do so, you’ll need to do the following steps:

  • To begin, disable your PS4 in the settings.
  • Then, on your console, press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps.
  • The console will now show the following information. Using a SUB cable, connect the DualShock 4 and hit the PS button. So go ahead and do the same.
  • After that, choose Update System Software from the Update System Software menu and then Update Using the Internet.
  • If a system update is available, click next, and it will download and install it.
  • Select the restart option after installing the Update and see whether you’re still receiving the same problem.

4. Verify the PlayStation Server

The final thing you can do is see whether the PlayStation servers are up and running. There’s a good possibility PlayStation servers are experiencing outage or are undergoing maintenance.

So, if the servers go down for whatever reason, they will be back up in a few hours. However, you should verify the server status on the https://status.playstation.com/ webpage to make sure.
