Change order of songs in spotify playlist

1) In the Spotify desktop app, open the playlist you want to reorder.

2) Click the three dots next to the playlist name to open the drop-down menu.

3) Select Edit from the menu.

4) Hover your mouse over a song in the playlist.

5) Click and hold the far-left icon, then drag the song up or down to its new position.

6) Repeat this process for each song in the playlist until they’re in the order you want.

7) Click Done when you’re finished rearranging the playlist.

The changes will save automatically. If you ever want to go back and edit the order of your songs, just follow these steps again. You can also use this method to add new songs to the playlist in specific positions.

You can also reorder your Spotify playlists on your mobile device. The process is a little different depending on whether you’re using an iOS or Android device.

How to rearrange songs in spotify playlist

There are many ways to organize your music, but one of the most popular ways is by playlist. Spotify offers many different options for playlist organization, including the ability to rearrange songs within a playlist. This can be a great way to fine-tune your listening experience and make sure you’re hearing your music in the exact order that you want. Here’s how to rearrange songs in a Spotify playlist:

First, open the playlist that you want to edit. You can do this either on the Spotify website or in the app. Once the playlist is open, find and select the song that you want to move.

Open Spotify on your computer

Go to the playlist you want to rearrange. Click and hold the song you want to move. Drag the song up or down to its new position. Release the mouse button to drop the song into place. To move multiple songs at once, click and hold the first song, then press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard. While holding Shift, click the last song you want to move. All of the songs between your two selections will be highlighted. Now you can drag and drop them into place just like before. When you’re done arranging your playlist, click Save. You can also rearrange your Spotify playlists on your mobile device.

Use your finger to drag and drop the songs into the order you want. Tap Save when you’re finished rearranging the playlist. How to add new songs to a Spotify playlist in a specific position. If you want to add a new song to your playlist, but you want it to appear in a specific spot, you can do that too.  Open the Spotify app and find the playlist you want to add a new song to. Tap the three dots next to the playlist name to open the menu. Tap Edit from the menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of songs and tap Add Songs.
